Just a lil incident that took place in my tenth, thot u'd like 2 read.

 

thursday [21st july '05]...v had real fun at skool..here's y...

v guys are the wurst of our behaviour durin da marathi period.cmon, its natural.bt today ms.virginia [n still has a son] ws a bt philo,she told us tht of all days at least let her b 2de...it was gurupoornima!v oughta b respectin the teachers today...as well as ne other de...bt 2de specially..n v werent doin it.cmon..my mum remnds me of this day everyyear, bt din 2de.n its my last year, as i mus've already mentioned b4, n i had 2 do sumthin.when vajju finished wid her lacture...or rather during it itself, the same thin struck meself n taral [headboy, front bench] n i took out my writing pad.vajju stopped talkin n i told taral 'meet me in the shrt brk...this is imp"taral goes like...'i was jus gonna say the same thing.nt tht we're gr8 frnds or nethin...bt it came damn fast to both of us.

so vajju loox at both of us n goes like ...radhika taral..kaay chaalle aahe?[it means what r u up 2]..taral says miss aajchya tt tournamentchya list baddal boltiye ti [she's talkin abt the tt list]ms turns...n taral says...aaj hum sab record todenge.i juss said...plan of action is v go to the staff room when all the teachers are there and v wish them...bingo.

now i'll narrate how we did the entire thing

vajju left class aftr da bell rang

me:i want all the office bearers in this class within 2 mins n all others xcept 4 me out.

[i aint ne person of authority,bt sumhow every1 listened...within 2 mins the councils in the class...i asked only for the tenth kids n they're here]

 me:i hope u guys kno 2de's guru---.n its our last one at skool.v r gonna get in2 da staffroom n do sumthin thts nvr bin dun b4.

taral:as soon as v enter it v giv a lil intro n sing guru brahma n radhika's gonna give a speech...wat say[its a shloka]

ppl gave us this blank look n both of us look back inversely interested

[meera [headgal] gave us a look which clearly said 'u guys called me here for this?']

noone thot it wud wurk at first.except for sum like sal, horz, n vishal...[vishal ws a bit hesistant to cum coz jus yesterde he had lost his badge bcuz of sum mischief of his]

then v managed to convince sum of them..bt ppl like johanna were a bit 'uhmm, how do u touch a persons feet'...poor kid had nvr dun tht b4...whereas accordin to me meera had an inferiority complex wid tht.mohnish din even bother to stay in the class aftr v mentioned the idea.

bt soon word had spread n cum wat may v were gonna do it.

then there were ppl like shreyash hu wanted to cum along...nw v wud hav loved to hav them, bt aftr one cums there'll b a long line of students hu will wanna cum.pankti was allowed to cum tho, n i really needed her n sal to b there.also, ppl like yashesh, hu were a bit 'wat-men-cmon' abt the whole thing hu needed to b told only once tht they were asked to cum only if they wud like to. 2 my surprise he did cum. aditya was gud too.ami ws au supportive.shweta ws really nice abt it.darpan ws the usual frnd in need type,always obedient.

bt wat really gt on my nerves ws gaurav...i wanted real support n morale boosting in this...n all one of my oldest skool frnds cn say is...aye yaar popat ho jaayega.i wanted him 2 support me coz all my other gud frnds perhaps xcept for mishu had, n he din. then he calls me bhadku.abhi bhadak nahi jaaungi toh kya karungi?so i din speak to him all day long.he din apologise either.so 2 hell wid him.

so frm the shrt brk to the lunch brk all v cud think of ws wat we're gonna do in the staff room.i was tryin to find points on my speech, bt then i decided to say watevah came in2 my head.

so the final bell rang, i.e., the lunch brk began.v had requested the teachers to stay in the staff room for 5 mins after the bell rings, yet many of them were nt there.so v had to wait, for 40 mins.then v decided 2 go ahead wid it.

so v all enter the staff room n go like...we hav many complaints wid regard to watevah changes are happenin this year, bt anyway...HAPPY GURUPOORNIMA.thien i said...dear teachers here's a li'l  prayer for u...n v sang the shloka....n even tho v had always sung it juss for the sake of it...today v all meant it.then i stepped forward n go like..well teachers hope this was a surprise coz v dont think it has bin dun b4.v juss wanted to thank u n let u kno tht how much evah trouble v hav caused, v still wanna thank u for makin us wat v are today ...blah blah blah....v thank all of u, whether or nt u hav taught us, for everything.horz started wid his dumb comments then...n v began talkin 2 all teachers.v sang 'perfect postures', our evelyn miss usd to make us sing it every pt period.she's nice actually, bt too holy.so it went on n on like that.i took several pauses when i felt i was goona burst in2 tears.i din like the look on sharad sir's face when i thanked him...i guess bcoz tht was the only 'thnk u' i din mean.even the teachers spoke in the middle, patil indic8ed v were lyin when i said tht every individual bond between students has bin preserved coz of the teachers.jacqueline told us to urry up coz the bell was abt to ring.so i concluded my speech. or rather talk. n then kirti miss entered. our class teacher vora sir ws nt there. taral jus said, there's sumthin we'd like to do...n he started touchin the teachers' feet.so v al followed suit n gt blessing worth a lifetime n mebbe even the nxt! i told colette tht even tho she ws here for a short time she had made an impact. i told the librarian tht v wre srry for al the trouble v had cosd. then v left the staff room, n v were too happy 2de.

aftr lunch reshma miss came in2 class n told us 35 mins worth of 2de's importance...myself n pankti went n thanked even the primary teachers.none of the teachers hu had taught me in my primary were there...bt i thanked my bro's teachers.he's in a different skool. v wanted to thank the headmistress bt v werent allowed.meera taral already wished her.

then v left skool.
